This year World Book Day will be held on Thursday 5th March.
The main focus isn't a single theme but rather the National Year of Reading 2026 campaign, with the motto "Go All In," encouraging deeper dives into existing interests through reading, connecting books to passions like sports, gaming, or fashion, and promoting reading for pleasure with resources focused on fun, choice, and well-being.
The boys are girls can come to school dressed as their favourite book character for the day.
