Dear Parents,
Please look up your child's class (Primary 1 - Primary 4) in the Classes Area of our website to see a newly added list of the maths topics that your child will cover this year. We put a big emphasis on Mental maths and understanding of the number system in St Patrick's. Mental addition, subtraction, multiplication and division can be developed through practical games and online resources. Please see links to some great maths websites in your child's Class Area too.
Let's work together to help your child succeed in maths; please read over these topics and help your child to gain a positive, confident love of maths all around them and in everyday activities. Don't hesitate to discuss any of the maths topics with your child's teacher during our upcoming Parents Meetings at the end of October.
