Our Cross Country team were competing today in the third round of the Flahavan's Primary Schools Cross Country League.
Our Fun Run teams, consisting of P.6 boys and girls, ran with great effort and determination. For many this was their first cross country race. Well done boys and girls.
In the competitive Boys and Girls race both teams came second overall. What a tremendous achievement! These boys and girls have been training every week in all weathers and their hard work has really shone through. All children showed great team work and cheered each other on when not racing. True sportsmanship and kindness in action. We are so proud of these boys and girls.
Thank you to all who organised the event and accompanied the children. It was a great day.
