Our P5 children have been working on their very own book in collaboration with UIster University. Their fantastic book explores connection, empathy and social engagement.
Today the children visited Ulster University for a celebratory event where extracts of their book was read aloud ( via video) by many leading children's authors who sent messages of commendation and encouragement.
The children were presented with two copies of their published book, a badge and a lovely goodie bag with sweets, crisps, a drink, and of course a lovely pen to continue their writing into the future.
It was a beautiful sunny day and the children enjoyed eating their snacks on the grass at Ulster University.
